The Door Is Open...You Just Have to Be Brave Enough to Walk Through It

"Follow your bliss and don't be afraid, and doors will open where you didn't know they were going to be." ~ Joseph Campbell

Have you ever wondered why you can't get past a struggle or an obstacle in your life, no matter how hard you are trying? If so, ask yourself:

Do I know who I really am and what my soul's purpose is? Do I really know what I want?

Am I in alignment with my true self?

When we are faced with obstacles and trying times, it can feel like we are trying to make something happen when in actuality nothing is budging. It can leave us feeling frustrated and angry that we are trying to pursue something that is not working out.

We have all been there where we have tried and tried for that particular job, struggled to get ahead at a company or pursued a goal that was not attainable at the time. It can feel like a closed door.

And a lot of times, we keep trying to get that closed door to open because we think we know what we want. We think we know that what is on the other side of that door is what's best for us.

But more often than not, we are pushing so hard to open closed doors because we don't know what we want anymore. We don't know who we really are and we have lost sight as to why we keep pushing and pushing to make something that should be easy, even that much more difficult.

And we want to quit. Settle. We begin to believe that it is impossible for us. But that's the fallacy. It is not true. It’s always possible. It's always been possible. Our soul's purpose is to learn and grow, and we can’t get to where we want to go, until we know ourselves.

However, too often we ignore our soul's path because it is scary, risky, or we don’t have enough confidence or faith that we can pursue anything we want.

But we will only have the courage to believe that we can have anything we want when we know our authentic self. And the only way to really know our authentic self is by going inward.

An inward soul journey of recognition, realization, and recovery of self and purpose.

It is not until we stop pounding down locked doors that we can finally stop and reflect on our actions to go after something that IS meant for us. It’s in that place of self awareness that we must ask ourselves these questions:

Is this really what I want? Am I trying to make something happen that is not easy because of my ego and stubbornness? Or should I take this as a sign to change my direction and path?

When we use this time of struggle to go within and do the soul work that is necessary for us to find our purpose and our own authenticity, we align with the opportune moment to grow our spirit to a higher level.

We have to reevaluate our motives and desires; really dig deep to find out the truth of who we are and what we want in life.

This is not an easy task; but doing the inner work of learning who we are, building our self-confidence and worth, finding compassion and forgiveness in our past mistakes, and listening to our intuition, we can become who we were always meant to be.

And when we can get to that place of doing the inner soul work, we can begin to align and manifest our soul’s purpose. We can see that the door has always been open.

And more open doors will start showing up in our lives. We will attract them everywhere.

We have always had the power within us to walk through every open door with ease, grace and joy. Life truly can be that effortless; however we humans have flaws and logical minds that keep us looped in the struggle.

If what we truly desire has always been a part of our soul, if we have always wanted to achieve something, be something or do something, it has always been a part of us and it can always be had.

The door IS open. It is just waiting for us to see it and be brave enough to walk through it.
